Des Moines Downtown and Des Moines West Chambers present “I Believe
in Greater Des Moines”  a joint chamber meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2009
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Christopher’s, 2816 Beaver Ave., Des Moines.

In addition to a legislative update from Washington, Congressman Leonard Boswell will discuss provisions in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act which will expand opportunities for businesses of all sizes and share with us his thoughts on the economic forecast.

Amanda Steward and Mike Swesey from the Greater Des Moines Partnership will
discuss Greater Des Moines’ economy – benchmarks, marketing campaigns, and the business expansions that are still happening in Des Moines.  Find out why Iowans still believe and how they are still succeeding despite the rocky environment.
